Lily Grace Wardle is a UK based digital concept illustrator who specializes in semi realistic fantasy illustration her work can range from concept art to fully written and illustrated graphic novels that are targeted to young adults .She is driven by inspirations from Comics and Japanese Manga and digital animation. Lily’s artwork can have such a wide range making it so impactful! Within Lily’s creative practice she works between professional black and white line works and fully colored pieces. As a practicing illustrator Lily’s key concept surrounds the idea of illustrating and storytelling from the imagination this is an idea that fascinates her the idea of being able to allow illustration to immerse you in different worlds and universes either created by the artist herself or a client she is working for, creating these characters and universes allows the viewer into these fictional worlds that can be brought to life by Lily’s illustrative skills.

She was originally drawn to this style of artwork throughout 2020 when the real world was brought to a standstill due to covid wanting to create impactful art that took a viewer away from the real world so filled her time developing and practicing her skills. Furthermore this allowed her to Study illustration at collage gaining distinction level qualifications in art and design before moving forward to become a practicing artist and illustration student working towards her BA at the University of Huddersfield.
